CARMELITA

Meet Carmelita, the beloved daughter of Sparky, who embodies her mother's beauty and grace. She has a beautiful spread on her horns already, and we can't wait to see how much those grow over the years. Since she was just a wee one, Carmelita has captured our hearts, and now she's expecting a calf of her own! We can't wait to welcome this new addition to our family.

Lulabelle, the charming daughter of Bee Bop, has brought joy to our lives since she joined us last year as a little one. With her sweet nature and lovely disposition, she truly is a darling. We’re excited to share that she’ll be ready to meet Mr. Fireball and start making us some babies this October!

Introducing our gentle giant, the newest addition to our herd! Standing tall as our biggest heifer, she brings sweet and loving nature that makes her a joy to be around. Always eager for treats, she's great with the other heifers and never seeks to be the boss. In fact, she’s even taught them how to follow the golf cart, showcasing her nurturing spirit!

Tay-Tay as we call her is a new edition to our herd and is getting used to having a big pasture and a lake to wade in. She will be up for her mama duties starting later this year. We can't wait to see what beautiful babies she will bring into the mix.

FOR SALE - REESES PIECES

Reese's Pieces (Born 2024)
My very first mini out of The Colonel! Reese's Pieces will be ready to join the breeding herd this September.
She’s full of spunk and loves to race along next to the golf cart—giving you a piece of her mind if she thinks you’re driving too slow coz she knows snackies are in her near future!

FOR SALE - COCOA PUFF

Cocoa Puff
(Born 2025)
Our second mini out of The Colonel, Cocoa Puff is another sweet, fluffy addition to the farm.
She will be ready to start dating in November of this year!

FOR SALE - SNICKERDOODLE

Snickerdoodle (Born 2025)
Sired by The Colonel, Snickerdoodle is currently our smallest mini and still very much a baby.
The big girls in The Playpen intimidate her a bit, so she stays glued to her mama, Oreo, and loves hanging out with the newest calves in the pasture.

for sale - captain curly sue

Captain Curly Sue
And Tigger Too
(Born 2025)
Born on my grandmother’s birthday and named in her honor, Curly Sue was my very first little bull calf out of The Colonel. He is truly the cutest, "bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun fun" little guy you've ever seen!
He loves playing with his siblings and making everyone fall in love with him.

FOR SALE - junior

Junior (Born 2026)
The grand finale! Junior is our very last baby out of The Colonel, and he is an absolute, irresistible fluff ball.
He inherited all of his daddy’s incredible coat, and we can’t wait to watch him grow into all that big, soft hair!

Oreo (Born 2017)
The queen that started it all! Oreo is a striking black-and-white Longhorn/Baldy cross and a phenomenal mama. She’s given us wonderful calves like Cookie, Reese, and Snickerdoodle, and remains the heart of our pasture.

Cookie (Born 2022)
Oreo’s second calf, Cookie is one of my most prized black-and-whites. Sired by an Angus bull, she is polled (naturally hornless) but inherited all of her mama’s beauty and fantastic mothering instincts. She’s the proud mama of Hershey, Captain Curly Sue, and Junior!

Hershey (Born 2024)
Cookie’s daughter, Hershey, is stepping into motherhood for the first time! She is due later this year, and we are so excited to see her first calf—a Longhorn cross sired by Sir Fireball.
She's getting that nice brindle color as she ages. We can't wait to see what her babies with Mr. Fireball will look like!

Big Blue (Born 2020)
At 6-years-old and standing an incredible 6'2" at the shoulder, Big Blue is hands-down the biggest cow I’ve ever seen! Don't let her size or those HUGE horns fool you—she's a sweet, gentle girl at heart who absolutely loves being hand-fed.
She's a favorite of my hubs because he can look her directly in the eye and she doesn't stick her tongue out when you feed her.

Dreamsicle (Born 2025)
Currently hanging out in "The Playpen" pasture with the other young girls, Dreamsicle isn't quite ready for the breeding herd yet.
We often call her "Miss Piggy" because she genuinely believes she is the only one entitled to treats!
She's the hubs favorite! He calls her fluffy!! She would get in the golf cart if I would let her.

about my love for cows...
As a little girl visiting my grandfather's farm, I always knew that one day I’d raise my very own Texas Longhorns—specifically dreaming of a striking black-and-white one. In 2005, after settling on my land in East Texas, that dream began to unfold.
The journey truly took off when a good friend gifted me a magnificent Longhorn bull in 2014. I bought my first cow, and it wasn't long before my dream came full circle: her second calf was a beautiful black-and-white Longhorn heifer that the kids named Oreo. She quickly stole my heart, became my baby, and went on to raise six wonderful calves—three of which are still a beloved part of our pasture today alongside their still glorious mama.
Early on, I began crossing Longhorns with a majestic Highland bull named The Colonel - I wanted to develop a crossbreed that produced exceptional beef for our family while ensuring a calm, gentle disposition for our safety. The Colonel and his girls gave us eight of the cutest calves over the years - 6 girls and 2 boys. The Colonel did not miss a beat!
Then, as my passion grew, I decided to venture into registered Longhorns. In 2023, I officially established my registered herd starting with Poppy and Sparky and later added Bee Bop for my Dams. To head up this next chapter, we brought in our registered bull, Sir Fireball, and The Colonel went to live happily on another ranch with my son and daughter-in-law with a couple of my unregistered Longhorn breeding stock to keep him happy.
Today, our family has grown to 25 gentle, sweet-dispositioned cattle: 13 registered Longhorns (with another due any day!) and 12 others, including still seven adorable Longhorn-Highland crosses sired by The Colonel. Many of our crosses are true minis, standing under 36 inches tall! We have also ventured into the Braunvieh and Simmental breeds for beef production. Next year we'll see what those crosses bring into the herd.
Every cow on our ranch is raised with love—they'll happily eat right out of your hand and never turn down a good head or ear scratch.
